Forest floor mat is natural forest groundcover lifted in sections from the forest and installed in your yard on a sand base. It must be watered carefully during the first summer. After that, it thrives without maintenance. It requires no fertilization or mowing.
Our sod comes from dry, lingonberry-dominated pine heaths in Western Finland. It is grass-free and particularly well suited to southern and central Finnish nature. After installation we often hear: ‘This forest floor looks as if it has always grown here!’
